How it works

Three steps, no friction

Plain calculations done on the server and visible to everyone, with no mental double-counting.

01

Create a group and invite with a link

No downloads, no app store. Create the group and drop the link into your chat with one tap: whoever opens it is in.

Join from the browser, no account
02

Add expenses and choose how to split them

Equally, by shares or with exact amounts. You say who paid and see a preview of what each person owes before saving.

Amounts to the single cent
03

Check the balances and settle up

Crossed debts are simplified to keep the number of payments to a minimum. You record a repayment and the other person confirms it.

Splito keeps the tally, it does not move money
Integrity & method

Why Splito

Shared money should bring people together with clarity, not confuse them.

Transparent balances

Everything is calculated in cents. Any leftover cent from rounding is shown and distributed in a fixed order, the same for everyone.

No feature removed, no daily limits

No free feature will be removed, and there are no daily limits. We will sustain ourselves with discreet advertising.

Your privacy matters

Your expenses are not sold or profiled. Amounts, descriptions and participant names never enter analytics tools.

Web and export

It works in the browser, and you can export your expenses to CSV whenever you like, to open in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.

Use cases

For every occasion when something gets split

Trips, home, couples or an evening out with friends: Splito keeps the tally so nobody has to do the math in their head.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to sign up to join a group?

No. All you need is the link sent by whoever created the group: open it, pick the name you want to appear under and you are in. A Google account is only needed to create a group.

Is Splito free? How do you sustain it?

No free feature will be removed, and there are no daily limits. We will sustain ourselves with discreet advertising.

What happens to the leftover cent?

Not every amount divides exactly: €10 between three people is €3.33 each, with one cent left over. It does not vanish and is not hidden: you see it marked, and we always assign it in the same order.

Can I import my groups from Tricount?

Yes. Export the group from Tricount as an Excel file and upload it to Splito: before confirming, you see a preview of what will be imported.

Is my data safe?

Your expenses are not sold or profiled. Amounts, descriptions and participant names never end up in analytics tools. The details are in the privacy policy.

Can I export my expenses?

Yes, whenever you like: from the group page you export the expenses to CSV and open them with Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
